It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Oscar G. Rago, who left us on November 17, 2024 at the age of 84. He was surrounded by those who loved him most in his final moments. He was the firstborn son of Felizardo and Consolacion Rago and grew up in Leganes, Iloilo, Philippines.

Oscar married Erlinda Tagamolila on July 18, 1970 and they immigrated to the United States via Guam in 1972, eventually settling in Chino Hills, CA in December of 1987.  Oscar worked as a civil engineer from 1967 until his retirement from Kiewit Pacific in 2005.

In his spare time, he enjoyed his daily walks and especially loved walking his grandchildren to the local park. Oscar is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Erlinda, his children: Oscar Jr., Owen Michael, Dawn Marie, Oliver, his daughters-in-law: Kristal and Erin, son-in-law Andrew, and grandchildren:  Michael, Clayton, Ava, Eligh, and Vesper.
