Mark Timothy
Mcclure Sr.
Jul 13, 1960 — May 7, 2026
In Loving Memory
Mark Timothy "Rusty" McClure
Mark Timothy "Rusty" McClure, aged 65, of Chino, California, passed away on May 7, 2026.
Born in Glendale, California, on July 13, 1960, to James and Bonnie McClure, he was instantly recognizable by his vibrant red hair. Upon seeing him for the first time, his grandfather immediately dubbed him "Rusty"—the name by which he would be fondly known for his entire life.
Rusty spent his early childhood growing up in the greater Los Angeles area. In 1972, his family relocated to the coastal community of Carpinteria, California, where he spent his formative youth. He attended Carpinteria schools and proudly played football for the Carpinteria High School Warriors.
After high school, Rusty answered the call to serve his country and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Following his military service, he built a long and dedicated career as a Fire Sprinkler Fitter, working proudly in the trade for over 40 years. He eventually bought a home in Frazier Park, California, where he lived and made memories for many years before later settling in Chino.
On August 6, 2016, Rusty married the love of his life, Patricia Ann Hart, with whom he shared a deeply cherished marriage.
Rusty had a profound love for the outdoors, spending much of his free time camping, fishing, and riding as a passionate motorcycle enthusiast. He was also an avid Los Angeles Dodgers fan, rarely missing a chance to cheer on his favorite team. Known for his fiery spirit, Rusty loved to argue, but above all, he was a passionate and fiercely loyal friend to those who knew him.
Rusty is survived by his beloved wife, Ann; his son, Mark Jr. (Monica); and his cherished grandchildren, Evan and Lily. He also leaves behind his brothers, James Jr. (LuAnn), John (Rochida), and Patrick; his sister, Kathlene; and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Sr.; his mother, Bonnie; and his sisters, Raylene and Bridgette.
Following the funeral service, family and friends are invited to a reception at James (Jimmy) McClure and Luanne Simon's home, located at 22101 Old Town Road, Tehachapi, CA 93561, where we will gather to share memories and celebrate Rusty's life.
