Ligaya Sultze passed away June 1 after a struggle with respiratory illness. A devoted Mother and Grandmother and a devout Catholic, Ligaya found her joys in life through Family and Faith.
Born on a small island in the Philippines she moved to the United States in 1975 to raise a family with Michael Sultze, settling in the Los Angeles area. There she raised three daughters; Bonnetta, Marie, and Crystal and a son Jonathan who passed away. She had a love for flowers - with red roses her favorite - and she used her eye for color and design professionally both as a florist and interior designer in her younger years. A people person and lover of good company, Ligaya loved to spend time with her friends and family, where you could find her laughing and smiling often.
Ligaya is survived by her daughters Bonnetta Sultze, Marie Sultze and Crystal Leinenweaver as well as her Grandchildren Landon, Elisabeth, Timothy, Maylin, Ethan, Anthony, Caleb, Emily, and Joshua.
The Family has requested in lieu of flowers those wishing to pay their respects may contribute by clicking
