Dorothy Hooten of Diamond Bar, California, passed away on Thursday June 14,2018 at 2:10pm. Surrounded by those who loved her, Dorothy died quietly in her sleep. Survivors include her two surviving sisters Leila "Chick" Huffman and Esther Huggins, and children, Leon Hooten and his wife Liz Hooten, and her daughter Denise Mayer. Dorothy had many grand children and great grand children that gave her great joy. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Hooten, daughter Connie Grady, and son Earl "Hal" Hooten. Dorothy's request for all who knew and loved her was that she be remembered not in sadness but in joy and peace, knowing she lived a very joyous life.
