Ben Hernandez, 58, passed away Thursday, November 10th, 2022 at his home in Chino Hills, CA from a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Ben was born September 2nd, 1964 in Ogden, Utah at Hill Airforce Base Hospital and was a native of Chino hills, where he lived with his family. Ben married Cheryl Claunch on July 26, 1996, they were married for over 26 years. Together they had a son, Jordon Hernandez.

Ben was a very hard-working young man, he started working with his grandpa Gus Hernandez as a landscaper at an early age, and he kept that work ethic that he learned from his grandfather throughout his life.

Ben worked for NOARK as a sales engineer at the time of his passing

Ben was a gifted athlete and played many sports growing up, which carried over to his adult years. He was an avid 49ers fan and loved baseball and basketball as well. He also loved spending as much time as he could with family.

Ben is survived by his wife, Cheryl, son, Jordan, stepmother, Lillie Hernandez, mother-law, Beverly Claunch, his siblings, sisters, Kim Hernandez of Utah, Stacey Hernandez (Katie) of Utah, Tia Varni (Diane) of Texas, Katrina Mcmurtry (Robert) of Arizona, brother Steven Varni of California, in-laws, Brent Claunch (Michelle) of California and Vicki Claunch-Henderson of California. And by all his uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. We love you, Ben!

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernie Hernandez and Adele Perez, grandparents, Gus and Nellie Hernandez, Bernabe and Mary Lou Perez, uncle, Benny Hernandez, cousin, Roxanna Sulliven
